TV Bingo Celebrates 18 Years of Bingo Dabbing

Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative (Access) is excited to announce Access Communications Children’s Fund TV Bingo (TV Bingo) is celebrating 18 years on the air. It was first broadcast on Feb. 18, 2006.

"TV Bingo is a Saskatchewan staple,” said Tracey Mucha, Senior Manager of Community Engagement. “Wherever we go – whether it’s our Summer BBQ Tour, or AccessNow TV on-location shoots, or community events like Show N Shine – we hear how much people love playing, and how much they appreciated it during the pandemic.  We love bringing family and friends together every week to have fun and support children across the province.”

To mark 18 years, Access is making some changes to enhance the players’ experience.

First, a new bingo machine was purchased and is now in operation. In addition, the show has a new look and feel with updated graphics and the introduction of new animated mascots, the Bingo Bots, to cheer on the players.

A change is also being made to the gameplay. Due to regulatory requirements, the month-end bonus cards are being discontinued and replaced with a new game called the Cash In 15 Incentive Game: The Cash in 15 Jackpot occurs on the last Saturday of every month.
-    The jackpot can be won on any of the two-line combination games.
-    The winner is the first to achieve a bingo on two lines in 15 numbers or less. In case of multiple winners, the jackpot is split among them.
-    In the event of an early win (e.g., on game 2), players still have a chance to win $250 on games 3 and 4 if they achieve a two-line bingo in 15 numbers or less.
-    If the jackpot remains unclaimed, it accumulates an additional $1000 each month until won, starting at an initial value of $1000.

The Cash In 15 Incentive Game will debut on Saturday April 27, 2024. The final month-end bonus card game will be March 30, 2024.

All the proceeds from TV Bingo go to support the Access Communications Children’s Fund (ACCF). The ACCF is Access’s registered charity that provides funding to non-profit organizations that help children at risk, in need or are our most vulnerable. Since its inception, the Access Communications Children’s Fund donated over $3.5 million.

Access Communications TV Bingo airs Saturdays at 5 p.m. on AccessNow TV. To learn more, go to https://www.myaccess.ca/tv-bingo.
