Step into the world (or really, Regina) of Community Radio, with AccessNow Community Radio (formerly known as CJTR Community Radio)!

AccessNow Community Radio does not duplicate existing radio programming; it is an alternative, expanding radio-listening options within the city. The station also streams online and is available on all AccessNow television services, through channel 529 on NexTV or channel 700 on digital cable. AccessNow Community Radio has shows in six languages other than English, and offers an eclectic mix of music and talk radio which includes public affairs, education, health, arts, and other types of content relevant to the community. The station boasts 75 volunteer hosts, who create nearly 5000 hours per year of unique community driven content. 

Our station focuses on artists currently working outside the broadcast mainstream, with a specific emphasis on local and regional artists and events. We strive to maintain close links with the community, between our volunteer hosts and their listening audience. Through an open application process, we make community radio accessible to all individuals and groups who want to contribute to Regina’s cultural and community life.
