Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative (Access) is excited to announce it has launched faster internet speeds on its Rural Wireless Network supporting rural Saskatchewan including seasonal areas/communities.
Over 100 seasonal areas, small towns, and First Nations now have access to 50 Mbps download and unlimited data. An additional 9 seasonal areas, small towns and First Nations now have access to 100 Mbps download, 25 Mbps upload, and unlimited data. A breakdown of the areas benefiting from the enhanced speeds is included with this release.
“Being at the lake, in small town Saskatchewan or in the country doesn’t mean you should have to sacrifice connectivity,” said Access President and CEO Carmela Haines. “Faster internet means you can spend more time at the lake, take care of work when you need to, and not miss a moment with family and friends.”
Access is working to continually expand the number of towers in its network that offer a minimum of 50 Mbps download by the end of 2023.
