Access Communications (Access) is proud to announce that it is the official broadcaster of the 48th Annual Estevan United Way Telethon. The 33-hour event takes place on October 18 and 19, 2024. The event starts at 8 a.m. on the 18th running for 33 hours. It wraps up at 5 p.m. on October 19.
“Access Communications is honoured to be a part of this monumental event for the community,”
said Tracey Mucha, Access’s Senior Manager Community Engagement. “This telethon is a powerful reflection of the generosity and support that makes a difference for those in need.”
Last year’s telethon raised $357,001. The funds provide essential support for the programs and services offered by the Estevan United Way, which focuses on three key areas:
1. Moving people from poverty to possibility,
2. Helping kids reach their full potential, and
3. Building strong and healthy communities.
This year’s telethon is accessible through the AccessNow TV App, making it easier than ever for people to participate. Viewers can tune in via mobile devices, tablets, or smart TVs.
