"CityKidz Regina would like to take the opportunity to thank Access Communications Children's Fund in supporting our 2023 Summer To Remember program. With the funding received we were able to provide over 60 children with an opportunity to participate in our summer program that included a variety of field trips and activities. Children from North Central Regina were able to participate in their first trip to a farm, as we visited both Fenek Farms and Tiger Lily Alpaca Farms. We took the children mini golfing and bowling. We enjoyed a day trip out to the bird conservatory hiking trips around A.E. Wilson park. Each one of our trips included a nutritional meal for the children. This is very important to the children of North Central as during the summer most of the programs that provide meals for the children take a break for the summer. The children are already asking what trips we will be doing for Summer 2024." - Donna West, Executive Director

"Creative Kids Saskatchewan is very grateful for the support from the ACCESS Children’s Fund that allowed us to open the world of creative experience to more children and youth in our province. Thanks to the Fund’s contribution, hundreds more children facing financial barriers were provided access to art and cultural activities that foster improved self-esteem, increase learning potential, inspire imagination, nurture creative expression, provide a sense of belonging, cultivate pride, as well as, promote health and wellness. Last year, Creative Kids supported 1,313 kids in art, dance, music, theatre, and provided opportunities for sharing traditional Indigenous teachings and culture. Creating these opportunities to shine, grow and belong is so very important for the positive growth and development of our children and youth, and we couldn’t do it without the generosity of community champions like Access Communications." - Gloria Walsh, Administration Manager
