Access Communications Announces Fiscal 2019 Results & New Board Members

Regina, SK – The Annual General Meeting of Access Communications Co-operative was held January 21, 2020 simultaneously in Access studios across the province. Members of the Co-operative as well as members of the public were invited to attend.

Access Communications announced strong financial performance, with positive net income and growth in its revenue, cash flows and earnings. As a not-for-profit co-operative, 100% of earnings are re-invested into communities in Saskatchewan. In 2019, the Co-operative invested in new and upgraded infrastructure as part of a five-year $100-million investment plan.

“Access Communications is all about possibilities – bringing you the technology you want, the service you deserve and helping this province be the best it can be. That’s the co-operative difference!” said Brenda Watson, 2019 Chair of the Board of Directors for Access. “The Board devoted significant time this year ensuring that we are well positioned to meet the changing environment head on. The Board understands that a long-term focus, discipline and ongoing investment are required to achieve our goal of serving the needs of our communities now and in the future.”

The Board of Directors of Access Communications Co-operative is pleased to announce that Hiedi Pearson has been elected Chair of the Board for 2020.
