Regina, SK – The 2018 United Way Campaign is now under way and in the spirit of giving back to our communities, Access Communications Co-operative is once again gathering support for the many member agencies in need across Saskatchewan.
Our support across the province continues again this year with the annual telethons held in Estevan and Weyburn in support of the United Way. Both the Weyburn & District United Way Communithon held on October 19 and the United Way of Estevan Telethon on October 26-27 will be broadcast live on Access7 community channels. These telethons are major fundraisers for the two organizations in the Estevan and Weyburn districts.
Access Communications, through both staff and community supported events, has helped raise over a million dollars in the past several years for United Way organizations and its member agencies.
About Access Communications Co-operative
Access Communications Co-operative is one of Saskatchewan’s largest telecommunications companies, but we do so much more than provide reliable, affordable Internet, television, telephone and security services. What makes Access unique is our involvement in the communities we serve, especially through our Access7 community channels.
Access Communications began serving customers in 1978. Over the past 40 years, we have grown into a province-wide co-operative serving over 235 communities and 160,000 sq. km of rural areas in Saskatchewan. As a not-for-profit co-operative, we invest 100% of our earnings right back into the communities and rural areas where we live and do business.
