Regina, SK – No longer just a linear TV channel, AccessNow TV is a community programming platform. Access Communications Co-operative is now offering a digital platform to viewers across Canada with the AccessNow TV app.
“For over 40 years, our community channels have told the stories of Saskatchewan, showcasing the diversity of our communities. With our new AccessNow TV app, you can take Saskatchewan with you anywhere you go,” said Tracey Mucha, Community Programming Manager at Access Communications. “Our new app is available to all Canadians, letting everyone watch live or restart a show as far back as 72 hours. Best of all? The app is free to use for all existing AccessTV subscribers.”
The AccessNow TV app is available to Access customers and non-customers alike. For existing AccessTV customers, there is no additional cost. Access customers with internet, phone, or security services can purchase a standalone subscription at a discounted rate. The app currently features the Regina community stream at launch, and it will soon offer up to nine community streams from the Battlefords, Estevan, Gravelbourg/Gull Lake, Humboldt/Melfort, La Ronge/Air Ronge, Martensville/Warman, Weyburn, and Yorkton/Melville.
The AccessNow TV app is available for download in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. The app works on any iOS or Android device, including smartphones, tablets, and home streaming devices. To learn more, visit www.accessnowtvapp.ca.
