Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative (Access) wants to thank customers in the communities of Battlefords, North Battleford, Wilkie, and Cut Knife for their patience during an internet outage yesterday (July 16). Access services were down for approximately 11 hours.

The disruption was the result of damage to our fibre optic equipment by a contractor doing landscaping work near the equipment in the North Battleford area for a third party. Access’s services were disrupted just after 12 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16. Crews were immediately dispatched to investigate. Due to the extent of the damage, crews were able to restore service by 11 p.m. (Tuesday).
